At last! After almost a year I finally have little Blue Jeans! My first Exotic Kitten! She is adorable! I went to pick her up from the Breeders around 4pm. They gave me a last few tips and off we went! I had to put her in a Travel Case for the trip back home that is approximately 30kms. She was SOOO good while we were driving back! Only a few little "miaauw's" in the beginning and when I arrived back home she was fast asleep in her Travel Case!
Back home Francois was waiting for us! He was so excited to see her! It was so amazing to see how easy-going Blue Jeans is! She was not shy or stressed out at all! She Immediately started to play with us while exploring her new home. It was as if she was already staying with us for months! She was so happy and relaxed! Breeders normally keep kittens until 12 weeks old to make sure they adapt easily when meeting their new owners, because then they are much more sociable.

We bought so many toys for Blue Jeans that she couldn't decide which toys to play with! She seemed to be most interested in the 'ball & feathers on a stick'! The 'Cheese Chase' was also a familiar toy to her as she had the exact same toy at the Breeder's home. She played for a few hours and then I put her on the upper level of her scratch post with her pink blanket folded around her for a nap. Check out this video clip of Blue Jeans playing! It is really cute!! We are truly blessed to have a special kitten like Blue Jeans! She has a beautiful personality and is not shy at all! She loves to play and is very affectionate! When we pick her up or scratch her ears, she immediately starts to "purrrrr" with her eyes closed!
